Welcome
Welcome to this site. We have put together a number of resources
for Access and
Excel, which we hope you
will find useful.
Update 21 September 2012: As I have now taken up
a full-time job, I am not taking on any new consulting work but I
continue to support existing clients. I have also started a
blog where new
articles will be posted. Because the articles on this site have been
in the search engines for a while I will keep the site going as an
archive. Hope to see you at the new site!
Talks and presentatons
On 6 November 2010 I gave a talk on Integrating Access and
Excel at Office Devcon 2010, in Sydney.
The talk showed how to use Access as a data store for Excel, and
included sections on:
- Using ADO from Excel — an updated version of the articles
on this site - Using VBA to create pivot tables based on Access data
- And two short snippets on
- Drilling down into Excel reports
- Cleaning up timestamps in CSV files
You can download the presentation and the sample files
here.
